Hi everyone, here is my attempt at a pear, charcoal style brush in procreate. Reference image provided (different than the one in the video). Much more challenging than it seems. I found myself wrestling with the subtle plane changes and values. Will do the portrait next. Hoping to learn how to simplify moving forward. Looking forward to learning with you guys! Happy new year

Figure from quickposes.com. Charcoal on newsprint. Self critique: I got the angle of the face slightly off from the neck. The chest is barely too long. Overall I’m proud of my cloth wrap texture, hair and hands since those are some of the things I’m overly critical of myself on. Any-who, all critique and feedback is welcome.
