Reducing almost 70% of the information in the sleeve and editing it to improve clarity and guide the viewer's eye is a really smart approach.
It works really well for everyday clothing, and I have a couple of questions. Have you ever considered including some tips on how to represent different fabric materials in the course? If not, would it be possible to cover that in one of the critique videos?

I will show you how to draw spiral folds on areas of the body that twist. Twisting fabric is tough to draw, but we can make it easier by connecting folds to specific anatomical tension points. We will focus on the forearms and torso to see how rotation affects clothing.
You will learn a simple three-line method to design these folds. I use a main S-curve to connect tension points, then add two supporting lines to build volume and asymmetry. This keeps your design clean and prevents overworking the drawing. We will also look at how spiral folds interact with half-lock, diaper, and pipe folds. You will get a clear system for placing folds exactly where they belong based on gravity and the underlying form.

Simplify spiral folds on areas like the forearm by using a basic S-curve to connect tension points. This method helps you track the volume of the fabric as it wraps around the anatomy.
Here are my notes for the week! I used to struggle with half-lock and spiral folds because of all the complicated wrinkles, but I've learned to simplify the complex shapes into just a few key lines.
