Her sketchbooks are her practice space, where she studies a wide range of objects (houseplants, chairs, reptiles, and hands) often using references from Pinterest or Instagram. She works in pen to embrace mistakes, treating them as chances to learn and improve. By building a strong visual library, she gives objects personality, making them part of the story and strengthening their connection to her characters. This process helps her draw from imagination with confidence and ease.
