Follow these steps to practice evaluating and incorporating ideas into your creative project:
Reflect on the ideas you generated during the ideation phase.
Make a list of adjectives that describe how you want your project to look, feel, and impact viewers.
Use your list of adjectives as a filter to evaluate your ideas and identify which ones align with your goals.
Select 2-3 ideas to incorporate into your project:
Choose one idea that solves a specific challenge or problem in your project.
Pick one idea that adds new creative or technical elements.
If possible, include an ambitious idea and brainstorm ways to scale it down to a practical version.
Write a brief explanation for each selected idea, detailing why it was chosen and how it contributes to your project.
Identify potential challenges or questions for each idea and brainstorm possible solutions.
Optional: Experiment with incorporating your chosen ideas into a small prototype or sketch to explore their potential further.
