You will need a painting tablet of some kind on order to properly paint digitally. Please please please do not painting with a mouse!
I talk about a few of the key pieces of software that are commonly used for digital painting including Adobe Photoshop, Affinity Photo, Clip Studio Paint, Krita, and Procreate (ipad).
