I'm now confused. The explanation was not clear. We learned about reflection, refraction, absorption, and so on. When the practical parts came along, everything became jumbled up. The parts are not being explained clearly. Form shadows are also not addressed. But I will follow along with that and find clarity else where.

The main components of light to observe are ambient/diffuse, bounced light, ambient occlusion, specular highlights, secondary reflections, subsurface scattering and bloom/flares
