31/3/2023 drawing a house with 2 point perspective, I personally think I did really well with this one. Criticisms are welcomed!

23/3/2023 Day 24, Alright this challenge is almost over! I’ll admit I got a little careless with the last page on the right, I have yet to read the Criticisms by @BAaLa Blue Bill & @Lord Basilisk which I quickly regretted as this would’ve made the 2 point perspective drawings better. Criticisms are welcomed.

Hi Crimson, I have studied perspective but I'm a novice so feel free to take my advice with a grain of salt. Remember to connect the top plane of you boxes to the vanishing points as well. I hope this makes your art journey a little bit easier. Keep up the good work.

Don't forget to use your vanishing points to construct the whole shape and not just the bottom plane! :) From what it looks like to me, you are extruding your prism from the bottom plane rather than using the vanishing points to construct the top.

18/3/2023 I struggled with this immensely and felt no remotely close results for this. Criticisms are extremely needed.

Instead of criticism, here's a step by step: 1. Draw your horizon line 2. Place a vertex along the horizon to act as your vanishing point 3. Draw a line perpendicular to the horizon 4. Draw a triangle by connecting the 2 ends of the line to the vanishing point 5. Now that you have a perspective plane, you can extrude whatever you want from it In the case of 1 point perspective, you can simply extrude 2 lines from this plane horizontally in relation to the horizon. This is your front facing plane. To complete the 1 point perspective cube, simply draw another line along the plane perpendicular to the horizon. Now you have a 1 point perspective box :) In the case of 2 point perspective, simply add another vanishing point to your horizon and connect that to your perspective plane as well. This will create a diamond shape, but don't think of it like that, instead see it for what it really is, a 3D wedge shape made up of 4 triangular planes. As far as 3 point perspective goes.. I've never tried it so I can't help you out much there. Hope this information helps :)

I feel like my 3p perspective may be a bit skew, should I place the VP further apart?

Something Else
Assignment. Realized with 1 point that the ellipse degree, if on the front, should not change.

This assignment definitely was a challenge for me. I'm uncertain about my success with the 3 point perspective and multi-VP page, especially.

Hi, part 3 and 4 of this exercise was a bit challenging but I think I managed it.

Your boxes are a bit distorted, this is because your lines of your box aren't comming together at the same point. A box in a 3 pp has 3 vp's; 1 vp is on the left side of the box (all lines from the box that are going to the left need to come together at the same point), the second one is on the right side of the box. These 2 vp's are sitting on the HL. Now if we look down on a box then the 3rd vp should be below the box and vice versa.

My assignment for module 1. I'm not so great at working with just a pen and struggled with 3pt perspective. I think that I messed up on the 2pt perspective and the 1pt perspective was harder than I thought it would be as I kept wanting to make ellipses. :-)

Remember that in a 1 pp all converging cylinders have circles as an ellipse. The degree of your ellipse only changes in a 1 pp with horizontal and vertical cylinders. Also when a vertical cylinder gets closer to the HL, it's ellipse should become more and more narrow untill it's eventually flat (right on the HL)
