LESSON NOTES
Two strategies for handling values in observational drawing.
COMMENTS
Got half way through, had a break and came back to it. Rewatched and everything made sense on mod 4 ch 1. I understood every decision you made. Loved it. First time round "well this is dragging on" (no offense). After watching the rest in the space of a week or so (burn out). Thanks for the lessons I know you are saving me time with what you are teaching.
I have a question. How to "translate" value study into colors in the rendering process since we don't know the tonal value of each color?
Single pencil value study. Wanted to start with values determined by a single lead before varying graphite densities. Next will be that and then a pencil/ink study.
