As mentioned before, I find the short poses of 15-30 seconds very hard. It was a bit easier when I focused on the graphic shapes. The more elaborated sketches are about 6-7 minutes each, drawn with pencil on 20x30cm.
Hello Josh, hello everybody! I was wondering how much time one of those Portrait-Sketches took you. For warming up, I tried fast portrait-sketches with 15 seconds - this didn't work at all for me, 30 seconds was a bit better but still very little time to make any decisions. I suppose it will get better with time, still I was wandering if 5 Minutes would be a good interval for drawing a more detailes sketch like yours. Kind regards, Lili
I tried practicing with some of the heads from the class, and then had a go at a couple more stylistic ones.
