love this one but the reference is very very much needed just to see what youre working from and what youre finding from the actual faces, would be great if those would be added, thanks!

Drawing Heads from Reference.

I´d like to see the references on the video lesson. It´s hard to keep up when I don´t know what the image is coming from.

I really enjoyed drawing these heads but found them quite difficult to get the wilderness with some of them. The first page I felt that all of them went well but the last three heads were especially difficult. I found drawing Beth Harmon from the Queen's Gambit to be especially difficult and I was unable to get the correct proportions of her face so I drew her face a little bit too long. I may attempt her face again at another time and I found some difficultly with the second last face with the lighting from the bottom but I especially enjoyed drawing these!

Where are the references? Your drawing is amazing - however, If I can't see the reference, I can't really compare the original to your drawing(s). It's important to see both. If you can add the pix as a download to this lesson, It would be great to have it opened and off to the side as you draw each head.

And there I thought that hands - would be the hardest one… totally forgot that portraits I’ve been neglecting beforehand 🤣 Here is my follow-along [it is also quite rushed] and will serve as my heads of shame pages😂 will do better !) That is probably my last lesson of this course for this year!) Planning to spend the holidays on assignment. Always dreamed to be able to capture likeness - now time to learn to do so, practicing with hands and figures is really paying off so thank you very much for these approaches! We are only few lessons in and this course ate up my sketchbook like a cupcake 😅 totally worth it😍!) Happy holidays to everyone! Hope that everyone will get a bit of rest and then to create more and more art!)

I really loved this segment. While watching it, I kept thinking how valuable it would be to be able to see the demo a second time in real time ( duration must be around two hours). It’s so interesting, whether it’s for appreciation or for learning, I’m sure many of us would love it! I hope this is something that might be possible !!
