In this lesson, we move from the shadows into the light. I'll show you how to draw the areas hit directly by the light source, including center lights, mid-tones, and highlights. You'll learn how light behaves differently on flat planes versus curved surfaces. I demonstrate how to add light on both toned paper with a white pencil and on white paper by shading mid-tones and erasing out highlights. Finally, you'll learn how to refine all the values in your drawing to complete a fully rendered piece.
