Wanted to share my attempts on this practice. I struggled on buff male bodies cause I’m new to it. Super fun exercise and going to continue! 😁

Combining gesture and structure to draw the "soul" of the drawing.

Here’s my latest practice attempt. Muscular male anatomy is still challenging for me, but it was a fun exercise, and I’ll keep practicing.

Practice from the video. A bit scratchy and I proportioned but still enjoyable

So used to shading it was freeing to not worry about that and focus entirely on the structure.

Great job!!

So much fun sketching along with Rembert. I’m amazed how easy you pop these out. Finally got my trusty bic pen. Going to have to invest more time in anatomy, and I think I have a hard time keeping the legs in proportion
Jay Nightshade
great work!
Kristian Nee

It's very weird. Watching the video I felt overwhelmed and like I would miserably fail the exercise. Yet when I started darwing it just clicked and it felt natural! I guess my subconscious was picking up on things haha. Anayway, I had a lot of fun doing this one. Any critique is welcomed :)

fantastic!

These look wonderful! There's a great sense of 3D space/perspective, and the figures look so dynamic. Seems like you got a lot out of this practice, good job!

Reference I used was from proko free sample and a pack I bought from proko if anyone was curious lol.
@le_grand_jedi
Hello, can we find the reference photo some where? Thanks
Kimberly Lewis
Great idea, @Kristian Nee. You can get the free model pack here, @le_grand_jedi; https://www.proko.com/lesson/art-model-sample-pack
Kristian Nee
We don't have any reference packs for this course. But I would recommend the free Proko sample pack
