First day! Maybe I did a bit too much 'finger licking' ;) but it already feels like I'm getting my money’s worth. Really excited to see how much I’ll improve over the course.
Here's some of mine. Learning a lot! Bonus point to anyone who knows the game I referred to in the top of one of the drawings. Hint: It's a souls like :)
Quite happy with these ones, I feel like my lines and gesture are loosening.
Here’s my latest practice attempt. Muscular male anatomy is still challenging for me, but it was a fun exercise, and I’ll keep practicing.
So used to shading it was freeing to not worry about that and focus entirely on the structure.
For the sake of sanity I just followed the references in the video I hope that is allowed
So much fun sketching along with Rembert. I’m amazed how easy you pop these out. Finally got my trusty bic pen.
Going to have to invest more time in anatomy, and I think I have a hard time keeping the legs in proportion
It's very weird. Watching the video I felt overwhelmed and like I would miserably fail the exercise. Yet when I started darwing it just clicked and it felt natural! I guess my subconscious was picking up on things haha.
Anayway, I had a lot of fun doing this one. Any critique is welcomed :)
I really love these, really dynamic, you can feel the movement and the energy! Great work!
Wanted to share my attempts on this practice. I struggled on buff male bodies cause I’m new to it. Super fun exercise and going to continue! 😁
These look wonderful! There's a great sense of 3D space/perspective, and the figures look so dynamic. Seems like you got a lot out of this practice, good job!
Reference I used was from
proko free sample and a pack I bought from proko if anyone was curious lol.
Hello, can we find the reference photo some where? Thanks
Great idea, @Kristian Nee. You can get the free model pack here, @le_grand_jedi; https://www.proko.com/lesson/art-model-sample-pack
