Using your drawings from your finalized character line-up, give my Shapecarving technique a try. This technique will give your art that graphic look that really pops off the page.

Hello fellow MonsterLab designers,
here are my results from the shapecarving assignment.
I really enjoyed this process.
Best wishes to everybody,
Andre
I kind of assumed I missed out on getting direct feedback so really excited to see these last two assignments go up. Hope it’s ok that I threw up all my assignments here so it was easy to see my progress in one place. Given it wasn’t Halloween when I started I decided to do my own theme. I studied this little fish called a threespined stickleback in grad school that has cool behaviors and morphology that made for some fun ideation sessions. I’ve worked through the course and been really excited to see how these characters have developed. Probably could have spent even more time iterating but happy with some of the changes that process led to. Would love to get any feedback you might have. Working on the coloring now.
