Hey everyone, here's my line-up.
In the critique video of the last assignment, my page of character drawings, which incorporated my thematic ideas, was missed. I've decided to use those characters as they were for this assignment. I will apply Scott's feedback from this assignment and the last critique, with some of my own changes, in the next digital/shapecarving stage.
By the way Scott, your livestream the other day was great. I'm glad I watched it live though, as the recording is blocked in my region due to copyright of the music content.
The theme for my collection is The Great Ocean Road, where I visited last year. I had lots of fun on this one, using Photoshop, which I got recently. My least favourite would probably be the top middle. Just got the images off the internet, from:
1. Darren J Bennett photography
2. Dreamstime.com
3. Silentravel.com
4. Visitmelbourne.com
5. Visitgreatoceanroad.org.au

Sorry I’m posting a bit late, but I finished these off a while ago and only just got around to the posting part. Hope you like them Scott.
P.S. Really liked your sculpts this year, especially your “wild hunt” one. Always inspiring.

This is my final developed characters page. I did one of them a bit small and forgot to put my paper down a few times so smudged;p. Thanks for the great assignment Scott, got me practicing lots, and I hope everyone learns heaps from it!

This is my second page of my Harvestman variations, this one being explorations of a winged Harvestman. It has a tool rack for wings.

Here’s my first page. I took Scott’s advice and decided I’ll spend a page of explorations on each of my chosen lineup characters. I will then take a variation from each new page and refine it. These are variations for an electricity Harvestman.

This was an extremely good lesson! It was great to get the insight into Scott’s sketching style. I love his style so much, I’ve been trying to copy his line dexterity! Thanks so much Scott for the quality content!

Here's my homework for this weeks assignment. I found it good putting all my thoughts down on paper and practising my silhouettes and shadow shapes. However, I found myself rushing and not thinking about my designs for the last few thumbnails. Does anyone have tips or advice on how to avoid this, and any critique is welcome.
