It was really challenging to paint this way, picking the colores was the most difficult part, at the beginning I didn’t know which one to pick even when I knew the “correct” value, so I just decide to go with cold color for the darkest value, and warm color for the lightest.
Any criticism or advice for future paintings is appreciated.

"Adding color" is one of my favorite drawing lessons - without lines, but with volume and value. The whole course is unique. Thanks.
My latest portraits. I used oil pastel which is a new medium for me. It seems to have the buttery consistency of oils but less setup and clean up. One is done with Pentel brand, the other with Senellier
I focused on painting one portion of the face after doing the first chapter of the course. Any comments ! Suggestions??
