Truck structure analysis

I recently drew a mini delivery truck as a still life subject and found myself really intrigued by its structure.
These compact trucks have a large cab and a short body — the proportions are oddly charming and fun to study.
To better understand its form, I sketched a few block-in studies from different angles.
As I started thinking about how to estimate the perspective of nearby objects, I realized using a perspective grid would be helpful.
Next, I plan to explore how the doubling method can be used to build spatial relationships and lay out objects more accurately.
If you're interested in stylized vehicle drawing or spatial construction, stay tuned — I’ll be sharing more breakdowns soon!
