Hi, everybody!
I have noch ideal of this ist the right place for my post, so please let me know if it ist not.
Last weekend it snowed quite heavily, where I live and when I walked past a window at night, I fell in love with what I saw and thought, I'd try to draw something similar.
The first photo shows what I got from white pencil on black paper. In the second one I tried to highlight the snow, which gets lit by the streetlight, with a white glitter colour.
Please let me know what you think.

This is cute. The second image is definitely more striking with its contrast in values. One thing that jumps out at me, though, is that the snowflakes are brighter than their light source. You might want to brighten the inside of that lamp.
Now that I am reunited with my pen, I corrected the light. It Looks much better. Thank you again!
That's true, I was not sure, if it would steal the focus from the snow, if I did that. But I think, you are right. It is strange, that everything else is so light and the lamp so dim in comparison.

It’s lovely! The extra highlights on the snow gives it a little more rhythm too.
