Perspective: camera lenses
3yr

@silentmoonss
hello. I’d like to ask for some assistance in camera lenses in appliance to perspective. I’ve practiced this for about a month or two but I’m still not understanding the concept of camera lenses as it applies to objects, as well as interiors(Especially with wide lenses)
i just want to know if I’m in the right track and if there are some books or courses I can take to further understand this. Please if anyone has any tips it would be much appreciated.

Hi @silentmoonss, before recommending any sources it would be interesting to hear what you know about camera lenses already and how you have been thinking when doing these sketches.
Cheers!
Ps the sketches look really nice :)
Hello @Jesper Axelsson thanks for replying. So bare with me. This is going to be a bit of a long post. I don’t know much about camera angles expect the basics like wide lense medium/standard lenses and long lense. Generally wide lenses deal in regards to artistic perspective is curvilinear- 3 point perspective standard lense is 3point - 2point and long lense is generally 2poibt to 1 point. I signed up for artwod( this is where u learned it from) and it was for preparation for putting figures into a scene.
