Let me know what you think.

I was scrolling through your board just looking for a post where I could tell you: your acrylic paintings are spectacular. Your use of colour is so subtle, and the shapes synthetic but striking. I really love them. My compliments, really. (I so admire people who can paint with acrylics, I've always had a visceral hatred of the medium!)

This beautiful and really invites to explore. I like it a lot! The colors are gorgous and catch the eye. I am with Josh,I think it could really suit your style with this if you put in even more flowers and animals, like an overflowing, lively place of nature. I would love to see that. I struggeled a bit to make sense of the woman's legs and their shadow on the stones. Maybe a different shade for the shadow on the stone would it make easier to read. But maybe it would destroy the composition, I am not sure, it is just an idea.

i really love the colors and style. one thing i noticed is that the composition is a bit "crowded" ( keep in mind that composition are very subjective so please take this with a grain of salt ) every objects is kinda fighting for attention right now. the stork is quite big, and looking at the distance, and leading the viewers' eyes off the canvas. the flowers have quite a bit of contrast, the colors are also very bold. there are a lot of individual shapes ( especially the flowers ), resulting in a lot of hard edges, i would save mose of the hard edges for the girl, so it makes her more important. and the rule of thirds isn't working very well with this situation i think. the right side feels kinda empty. i would put her in the center instead, or maybe add the secondary focal point on the bottom right if you wanna keep the rule of thirds. the lighting is also kinda inconsistent, there arent any shading besides the girl. you can pull off some composition tricks with lighting and make your painting moodier. for example, putting everything in shadow except the girl, can make her feel like a goddess or something idk you're the one whos writing the story here. another thing is that you can merge shapes together ( this will be easier if you add the lighting ), for example merging the shadows of those flowers with the water if you add some shading. ( like how you merged the core shadow of the girl with her cast shadow ) heres a video on that by marco bucci if you havent seen it yet: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nap7dwHjD9Y again, these are just my opinions. you can do a lot with this painting, like removing the shading on the girl entirely like alphonse mucha's artwork. do whatever feels best!

Love your style- and discovering she was on a frog! I don't know if you were asking for critique but I'd love to see a sequel where there were even more flowers and teal head rocks to exaggerate this crowded/lively feeling. (A knitpick, but maybe removing the small bird could contrast an open sky over the busy ground) But thanks for sharing! Wonderful colors and I love that frog!

Thank you, yeah I would like critiques sorry I didn't say so in the op. Yeah definitely feel like I needed the piece to be more crowded and lively. When you say sequel, what do you mean?
