This looks pretty awesome! Cool pose, and really nice line work! I'd say try to work within printed comic formats if you're studying composition for the medium. Standard comic pages are typically drawn on 11"x17" bristol board with specific set margins that should be considered when designing a cover. Your cover looks a like it's a bit short for a comic cover, more like a Magazine or poster format. Here's a layout template for comic pages! On the outside edges you'll see two lines, Trim and Copy. The Trim line is where the page will be cut after printing. So anything drawn outside of this line will be lost. It's aways good to extend the art outside of this Trim line, also called a "Full Bleed," so you don't have any strange lines or blank areas appearing in the margins of your artwork. The line inside the Trim line is the Copy line, also called the "Title Safe" area. Anything placed inside of the Copy area, specifically things like speech bubbles or panel borders will be "safe" from the Trim areas when the books are printed and cut. Sometimes print runs can be slightly off centered so be sure your most important elements fall within the Copy line, even if you're working digitally!
