Digital study / using 3D scans as reference

So I am planning to paint this in oil. It'll be a challenge for me but that's kinda the point:) Just trying to plan this out. Any critique welcome! Especiallyabout the composition. How do you like the rimlight as well? Also I'm tryin to use 3D scans as an initial reference. What do you think about that? has anyone tried it?

Those are actually pretty nice! Rim lights are looking a bit dramatic, depends on what kind of feeling you wanted to express you may want to keep that or remove that. It gives a separation of foreground and background in this case.

Yeah that separation is why I'm experimenting with them. But you're right they are a bit dramaticXD. Idk, might try something else:)

I'm not that great at composition but I'm glad you're gonna paint it traditionally. I think it's great you're experimenting with your rposses. Hope you have fun painting.
