i had an easier time doing level two compared to level one. i think because i was trying to stay so accurate during level one and i forgot to explore and stay confident at the same time. this level two assignment allowed my brain to have an easier time experimenting.
i had a hard time doing the level 1 assignments compared to the level two assignments for some reason. i think i was too caught up in trying to make it look decent that i forgot to stay loose and confident. i’ll definitely try these assignments again some time to see if i can practice this skill :)
I hear you! Sketching from imagination is not so much of a problem for me, because my mind doesn’t worry too much about proportions, it goes into doodle mode.

Asked for help
I attempted the level one assignment but I only had an HB mechanical pencil since my cat decided to hide my pencil sharpener somewhere in the house :) he’s also attempted to steal my good markers as well lol. Anyways, I can totally tell my shadow is wonky and some of my values look a little similar. Is there anything else I could work on? I included a picture of my fuzzy bandit as a serotonin boost.
