I thought my weakness in drawing proportions of humans would make this exercise hell, but I actaully didn’t struggle that much with it. Focusing on rhythm seems too help getting proportion ok somehow. Will make more of these. Fun! 🤩
Over hand attempt. I did notice that at first, the proportions were very off - and I think it was the relationship with the angle of the paper and my arm. The figure got longer in the legs. I had to adjust to the over hand technique, how my body angle changed with the change in the grip.

My bear from imagination with wings and vest. Right leg messed up!
Would love to see some of your exploratory studies as well. What makes the bear the bear? how do the wings of the bird move in different positions?
