Hi @priti d, The first thing I would do would be to check out this video How to Hold and Control Your Pencil. Drawing from your shoulder is difficult at first but in the end yields nice long fluid lines. When it comes to line quality applied to gesture, I would mimick someone who has good line quality and rhythm of lines. I think Stan has that, so if you follow along in his examples you'll pick up many of his good habits. This was a very general answer.
