Although intimidated by all the amazing submissions, I am somewhat satisfied! I like the bum and the legs and some general proportions. I find the arms much more intricate and difficult to get right with all the swings and boney bits...
I also think - not sure if this is correct or the right approach - making rough elliptical shapes for the arms and legs helps me before thinking too much auch the curves which i add as a second step...

I studied a Rembrandt self portrait and a drawing by Egon Schiele. I tried to be patient and replicate the strokes. Pleasantly surprised.

I am a huge admirer of Caspar David Friedrich but never seen any of his sketches.
I found them really tricky to imitate as there don't appear to be any searching lines or insights how these were constructed... I also struggle to fully understand some of the decisions about the thick lines. Especially in the hat, not sure why they need the emphasis, unless there was no specific reasoning as it was just a sketch?
Nice job.
im a newbie and I found the same challenge in reverse engineering how Rockwells drawing were constructed. So I studied other drawings of his and looked for similarities and differences.

First try on iPad and Procreate. I have pretty much no experience with drawing except what i have been learning in this course. Pretty happy with this result, and also going to try to draw this on paper soon
Nice! Saw this pear pop up and instantly remembered that it's from the same course I've just started yesterday!!!
