I'm wondering about where to make a cut when making a bust. If i show chest, facial expression will lose focus, and if i cut it at the point where shoulders are bent, the corners will look sharp and anxious.

Looking great! I like seeing the structure at the beginning. I think I liked just the shoulders but it's really up to you what you think looks better. remember on the chest that the rib cage underneath is the primary form and the chest muscles and breast tissue sits on top of that rounded form. Right now it feels like the chest structure is a bit sunken in the middle if that makes sense. Keep up the great work!

I would grab some references of gestural drawings or paintings of children that push the gesture. Norman Rockwell comes to mind as he pushes the gesture and expression in his paintings and you might be able to apply that to your sculptures if you do some studies from him. There's probably many other great examples you could learn from. You're doing good!

Really nice! I love what I'm seeing on the back anatomy and the structured set up before adding the muscles. The front anatomy looks like it could use a little work. I would look for gesture or rhythms that connect the muscles and how they wrap around the body. For example the muscles around the knee are more varied and the gesture looks a bit stiff in from the front. Really great sculpt and I can telly you really are working hard to apply the lessons which is something I love to see so keep it up!

Wow these are getting better every time! Great expression in this one! The only thing that stands out is that the face might be a bit flat and it might round off a bit more from the middle of the face to the front of the cheeks then to the side plane of the face. It's hard to be sure though from these references. What you might do is try to observe children or babies from above and then look at your sculptures from above and make sure that the shapes are matching. Keep it up!

Nicely done! the body of the figure is looking great! the feet and hands could use some work so I might consider the Hand sculpting course which should help with those. I'm so impressed you are one of the hardest working students and I know the hard work is paying off because your skills are improving each sculpt so keep going!
