I did the boots right after I watched the lesson and I think I was more focused on simplifying the lines for the outside of the boot than I was with the snail. I probably should have rewatched the lesson before doing the snails today, I'm much more happy with the boots.

I did the one on the left before watching the demo and the one on the right after. I understood how to do the values better with different pencils better with the second one, but I still feel like that is my weak point.
