Hello, it's a super challenging practice for me, the boxes. and perspective... but I am glad I finished them. I will fix some boxes I made mistakes. This is a good assignment, very helpful.
I only did level 1, and will try level 2 when I am ready. :)

Hello, thanks for the awesome class. It was really tough...super tough I mean, but I learned so much. I know there’s more to learn, but I’ve started to find my own process of drawing portraits. Here’s what I’ve done so far. I’ll make sure to remember what I’ve learned and keep practicing.

hmm, after rewatched and redrew few times, I made this with answers from Demo to correct my attempts. My thought: Head boxes are not easy as I thought.

Here is my result, it's not easy to do in digital, but I am glad I did it! ( I am krita newbie) . A little bit confused about the value on ear and nose. I hope I did it right.

Hello, here is my attempt. It took me longer than I thought, and I tried as best I can, but it still looks not so good and right. I appreciate any feedback.

Here is my another 5-Tone Value study, the value on the face and neck are hard to draw, my gradiention seems too much, make them look weird...

Hello, here are my 5-Tone Value assignments. I painted the darkest tone first and then the lightest one, followed by the cast shadow, the dark halftone, and final one. The last one is hard for me to decide, because at this point, I am not always sure which value I should put it in. Sometimes it is light halftone, sometimes it is dark than my dark halftone. hmm, I am not sure if I am doing it right or wrong. I would appreciate for some feedback.

Hello, here is my 4-Tones Value assignment. It took me about 40 mins. There are still some "unsure" values for me, for example: "Is the top of cube belongs to lightest tone or halftone? ", but through this course I finally started to understand how to tell values.

I compared 2H and HB. When I zoomed in on the photo I took, I found that my drawing looked so sloppy…even though I drew it as carefully as I could.

hmm, the dark part is not so dark, maybe I should try 4B next time. (This time I use 2H & 2B).

This is my second attempt, and this time I used digital tools. Shading AO in high quality is difficult for me. It looks rough, but I spent more time on it than it seems…
