Are we allowed to post more than final entry to the challenge? Here are my sketches and WIP images. I did the Raven cover first and then the Lovecraft. If it's ok to post more than one submission I would like to submit the Poe as well and I have a lot of other great ideas for great book covers.
This is my book cover for the Favorite Book Cover challenge... it was very hard to decide on a single book but I went with The Call of Cthulhu from the many works of H.P. Lovecraft
Here is my submission for this brand new year's first #prokochallenge (Are these hashtags required here as well?) for @Tiffanie Mang 's landscape thumbnails! I'll post the references in the reaction on this entry. I am actually proud of them, I had to redo a lot but got somewhere in the end ;-) How did you guys do?
Here i my submission and reference for the January 2022 Landscape Thumbnails Proko Challenge. This was done in Photoshop using only 1 brush, the Gouache - Soft Texture brush from the Ultimate Toolbox set of brushes.
Didn't have much time for this one so I did this one quick to get it in before the deadline... I will go back to it later when I have the time. Let me know what you think. Here is my Demon Prince. Thank you Stan and everyone... good luck to all!
I posted my info here yesterday in the hopes of getting a review, but my comment was immediately hidden by a bot "for spam". I'm guessing it didn't like the link to my ArtStation portfolio. I did open a dispute, but I guess moderators don't work on Sundays so if it ever gets unhidden, it will sadly be too late for that review. Your bot is a real jerk. Just saying.
Miss your live streams! Oily fans rule! Thank you for the earlier advice a few months ago... I took a life drawing class and loved it and looking forward to more.

I totally thought that lemur was doing the superhuman pose. Anyway here is my quick sketch with red ink and pentel brush pen. I hope you like it and I will totally accept constructive criticism on anything including up to and beyond line art, anatomy and clothing folds. Good luck with the competition everyone!
One more for the Proko Challenge Reference Bash... I'm not very good with mech or robot design yet but I'm giving it a shot.
Hi... I'm really trying hard to get my portfolio noticed so I can change my career path so I can do what makes me happy and that is to create, draw and paint. I am going to turn 54 next month and I would like to have the opportunity to find a more satisfying job doing something I love. I know I can do the work... I have all the tools and I retain what I see the other artists do but I need the time to do it all and I feel it is running out for me. I work a full time job and I am reaching out and applying to any job that involves being creative in art, illustration or design. I even took a life drawing class from the advice from Stan and Karla Ortiz and I loved it... I just wish I could do it again but I can't afford it right now. So if you have any advice or a direction to point me in, it would mean the world to me and I would be forever in your debt. Thank you for taking the time to read this and I hope you are doing well in these trying times. Here are links to some of my work. https://franklygraphic.artstation.com/ https://www.instagram.com/franklygraphic/ https://franklygraphicdesign.com/ Thank you Frank J Ferrer

My first oil painting ever. I know it doesn't look exactly like my reference photo but I'm happy with the results of my first attempt at oil painting. This was done using the Zorn palette which is only 4 colors. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Inspiration from Mother Nature... I came across a live cam for the Brooks Falls Brown Bears as they fish for migrating salmon. I took some screenshots and did this painting in Corel Painter. I also had the live webcam open during the process. It was very relaxing to hear the waterfalls and birds as well as looking up and watching the bears catch the fish and play. It made me feel good and kept putting a smile on my face to watch them.
