added comment in2 Week Drawing Challenge
Here is one of the drawings I've done this week. This week, I've been doing structure drills with some friends. Next week, we'll be focusing on value drills.

it's interesting that you managed to capture emotions and dynamism of the original despite how simplified it is

Hello, community!
Here's my attempt to project - 1 : Simply the Pear from Observation, from Getting Started lesson under the Drawing Basics course.
Any sort of feedback/critique is highly solicited!
cool, I can feel some of the roundedness of the pear here, esp on the left side. I think the shadow shape could be improved to more realistically match the shape of the pear

Here are both attempts at the first project. I rushed through the first one and the second attempt was after watching the critique video. Both were done in Clip Studio Paint. The order of the images are reversed. Any feedback is appreciated.
nice job simplifying. I think the black line running down the pear is too prominent. the shadow in attempt 2 on the left looks pretty realistic to me. unexpectedly, I can sense the 3d aspect of the pear in attempt 1 more than in attempt 2. I think the grainy feel of attempt 1 overall gives me more sense of material substance.

Here's my 3rd attempt at this project. I found a cheat sheet so to speak that helped a lot and I'll probably use in all my future practice drawings! It'll help train my eye to keep certain values the same throughout a drawing. You may be able to see it in the photo of my drawing. Love any feedback!
