First attempt at the CSI drawing of the snail. Really had to resist the urge to draw the lines with fingers instead of using more wrist, elbow and shoulder movements. Going to require a lot more practice.

Here's my attempt at the pear, while drawing along with the demo, and first attempt at the portrait. I think I missed the mark on the proportions and values on the portrait but really enjoyed the challenge. Any feedback is really appreciated.

I like what you did with the portrait -- did you use the value scale that you created on the pear page? The one on the portrait page looks a bit dark. I think you got the concept of the assignment. For the pear, I think the core shadow contrasts a bit too much with the rest of the shadow areas, maybe could be bumped up a bit in value. Overall, excellent job with this one!

Tried the pear challenge in the first video. Happy with the outline and basic shape breakdown but really struggled with value. Keen to try this again drawing along with the demo then I'll have a go at the portrait. Happy to hear any feedback 😀
