100 Cross Contours & Wrapping Lines Female Figure Study
❗ There is no censorship inside the pack.
There are many tools for studying anatomy and form, but not all of them are equally useful or easy to understand. That’s why we’ve created this practical resource, which aims to improve your figure-drawing skills, make your sketches more precise, and give you a much deeper understanding of human anatomy.
One of the hardest things about figure drawing is understanding form. Cross сontours lines are one of the best tools to help with this. These wrapping lines indicate the way muscles, limbs and the torso occupy space in three dimensions, helping to understand volume, perspective and the rotation of the body, as opposed to just copying flat silhouettes.
We’ve tried to select the most representative poses - standing, sitting, and leaning - to explore how lines behave on the body and how they change on each part of the female body, so that you can understand how the body’s volumes interact in space. You’ll be able to explore how shapes change when viewed from different angles, and simple studio lighting will allow you to focus on anatomy and body structure.
