1600+ Creature Design for a Slaughter to Prevail Koschei Video
We’ve been working on this project for a year, and you don’t want to miss it. Do you love music? Slavic horror mythology and practical effects? So do we.
This pack is timed to coincide with the release of Slaughter to Prevail’s “Koschei” music video. If you're a fan of folk horror - films based on the darker side of mythology - you can already imagine what awaits you inside.
Our team crafted every detail by hand: antlers, bones, furs, ritual weapons, wooden structures, and massive ceremonial headpieces assembled from natural materials. Inside this pack, you’ll find everything you need to design mythological characters.
From the first sketch to the final physical objects, from A-to-T poses, to close-ups - you’ll be able to fully dive into our workflow and see the meticulous care we put into every detail.
For creators, this will be an incredibly useful collection for working on character and costume design, illustrations, and horror projects. Textures, materials, props, accessories - everything you need.
For artists, this will be a very inspiring and practical pack for working with silhouettes, different poses (did we mention A-to-T poses? It’s all included ;) ), organic forms, and the way large costume elements interact with the body and other characters in a shoot.
We put a lot of effort into this project so that we could share our skills with others. To show that practical effects are just as cool as digital ones. And we truly believe that our creation will help you build and deepen your own lore, bringing it to life. Here's a video where you can witness it:
Again, inside you'll find:
- Complete A-to-T creature reference poses for accurate anatomy, proportions, and silhouette study.
- High-resolution facial portraits and detailed close-ups revealing every texture, crack, horn, and handcrafted costume element.
- Emotional interaction shots between the creature and the female sacrifice, perfect for horror storytelling and cinematic compositions.
- Standalone creature poses with expressive gestures from multiple angles on a clean studio background.
- Ultra-detailed 8K handcrafted props built from real animal bones, including skulls, jaws, antlers, ritual bone axes, and ceremonial accessories.
- Dramatic close-up studies of the creature's bone axe, captured under different lighting setups and other costume details
- Exclusive behind-the-scenes bonus featuring concept sketches, costume assembly, practical effects, and on-set production photos.
Special credit to our partners in crime - without them, this project wouldn’t have been possible:
- AVE WARRIORS STUDIO - a legendary video production company
- Vladimir Repin - director, artist, and producer.
Not enough horror for you? We've got more.
Build your dark worlds, create true monsters, and bring your legends to life.
