I drew the captain twice because I was getting sleepy working on the first one

The first was on my own the second was after watching the how-to video the third was after the critique video. they are all messed up in their own special way XP

The assignments I worked on

I have been working on gesture for a few months now and am at the point where critique would be very helpful to keep growing. I will post again in a few months to see if there are any changes in my skill.

I did 4 in digital using ProCreate. I used the round brush and flat brush. For the smudge tool I used old brush. I'm not used to using digital tools for this sort of project, so it was a great opportunity to practice new techniques and expand my skills. For the 2x2 gouache thumbnails, I used size 12 round brush, and 3/4" flat brush. I took a picture of all the paints I used. I didn't realize until starting that I didn't have any warm reds so I had to get around it as best as I could.
