Hello everyone! Here is my submission for the challenge.
In case I failed to tell a story through the painting (hope I did not) - the Skeleton is stealing a bone for his dog-skeleton friend who is missing one.

Hello folks! Here's my last-minute submission that I finished a few minutes ago :D
This month, I decided to portray Skelly trick-or-treating with a bunch of kids. Hope you'll like the idea and the illustration overall. Good luck everyone! Have a spooky Halloween!

Asked for help
Hi there!
Thought I'd submit this quick repaint I did today in response to a constructive critique from @Kristian Nee I received. The new version on the left is watercolour paint and gouache. I tried to push the values more in this one than the first one but perhaps missed the opportunity for better shape design and composition. I've also attached the reference photo and my first version. I remember I wanted to capture the warmth of that light that was shining through - and maybe the grumpiness of the cat loaf. Your thoughts are appreciated!

Good job Charlene! You have certainly improved it! The value structure is stronger, and sunbeams hit better now :)

Here's my submission! I have barely done any digital painting but thought I would try it for this challenge. Definitely had some difficulties with the trees so any critique on that would be great!

Hello! I am a 3D animator for advertisements. I stopped studying art when I was a teenager and now I am trying to get back on studies.
Here goes my June challenge submission...
I did it from imagination and there is a timelapse of the process in my YouTube Channel: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yOT-PY0c2Mw

As soon as I saw the subject of this challenge, I was so excited that I immediately started to work on it. Designing color and light is probably one of my favorite things in the painting process, so making this piece was a pure pleasure. I must admit that I'm pretty happy with how it turned out ;)
Good luck everyone!

heyo!
Well I made this sequence inspired by an episode of Love death and robots, I really would have liked to be able to refine it better and add more frames but I was very short of time hehe, I hope you like it:)

Okay, Netflix can hire you for the next season of LD&R because these drawings are perfect in every way ;) great job!

Hi! Here's my comic submission for the storytelling challenge.
The short scene will hopefully speak for itself, but here's a brief overview of the backdrop I had in mind:
In early Christian Poland the tension between the old pagan faith and Christianity is mounting and feelings are running high not only between people but also between the spirits of old, folk saints and devils. A new dawn is rising, a war is afoot and those who want to take part the least will come to suffer the most.
And that's that :) BTW, the title, "Zorza", means "aurora".
Cheers!

You totally nailed it! Your comic looks perfect! The only thing is I'm not able to read the dialogues - the letters are small, and even after zooming in, some parts are not readable. Can I get a version in the better format somewhere? I'd love to read the whole story, I'm a big fan of it! :)

Hello! Here is my submission. Aiming for a detective / psychological thriller type of story (don't wanna explain too much cuz what's the point if u can't understand the part of the story just by looking at drawings) Wish I come up with something more dynamic but yeah, at least I finished it in time.

I really like the composition and values. Also, the close-up eyes shot looks perfect, it's probably my favorite one! :)

This scene takes place in Texas 1884. It shows an interaction between a single mother of 25 , who is trying her best to make ends meet for four year old son and herself.she gets confronted by these three knuckleheads who work for a local bandit called forrest. it is regarding her ex husband who was a thief but unfortunately had stolen from the wrong guy . this is not the first time they have visited her .

Hello everyone! Okay, I guess this is the last call to post my submission. This month's subject was so great. I couldn't miss it even tho I started 2 weeks after the challenge was announced. For my entry, I've decided to draw an illustration for "Sword of Destiny" - a short story collection from the Witcher universe, written by Andrzej Sapkowski. Hope you like it! Good luck everyone!

Hi! Here's my submission for the challenge. Book is A Gathering of Shadows by V.E.Schwab, the second in a trilogy and one of my favorites! It's full of pirates and magic tournaments and different Londons, and darkness that's gaining strength and waiting for the right time to strike back and conquer the kingdom.
