Drawing on Both Sides of the Brain – Draftsmen S1E16
We respond to a listener’s email about what to think about while drawing. Marshall explains his criticisms about the book “Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain” by Betty Edwards. I also answer a caller’s question about the value of learning to critique.

Hello there, I wanted to ask for some advise from you guys.
I’m and art and systems engineering student and even thought I like both careers sometimes I might have to do some engineering stuff but instead I just really want to do my art stuff because I just feel the need to be drawing a lot and pulling off images that I have in my mind. In which case I end up drawing and distracting myself, causing me to have low preformance on the other stuff I have to do. I wanted to know how can I overcome this type of issues and how can I tame this uncontrolled desire of drawing when I have some other stuff to do?
Regards form Colombia, Arturo Calle.
PD: I love your podcasts and your other videos.
