ASSIGNMENTS

This is one of the essential lessons in the course. Understanding how light falls on a form and how it affects values can be applied to drawing or painting anything.

For your assignment, try this with me. Create your own sphere with the same lighting.

SUBMITTING 2 ASSIGNMNTS HERE. STILL HAVE THE GRID PORTRAIT TO COMPLETE. The grid is new to me. seems restrictive but at same time helpful to the structure accuracy and keeping me on target. in this 1st lesson i dropped a line and eyed it.. reworked lines a few times, attempting to get it in right place. thanks!

I have done spheres in the past which were simply duplications of the instructor's reference. You have made this make sense. Rather than memorizing terms, I now know the terms and understand the terms. I get the purpose now. I think I can do a better job because I now know what is going on. I can't believe that all these years (30) I haven't picked up on this better. Thanks.
