Did 6, because digitally is exponentially faster, especially if you make copies of your sphere/bg/floor layers setup. Part of me is wondering if I'm planning out the cast shadow and reflected light properly. I used those sort of planning lines, like Steven did with his traditionally made sphere. Would appreciate any critique. :)

Looks like your terminator/ halftones crawled a little high up the sphere, giving a dark feeling to the sphere because the form light doesn't have enough room to feel full and lit. This "choked up" configuration only happens with very nearby point light sources. Keep it up!

I ended up going in with black prisma color at the end because I felt like there wasn't enough contrast.

Nicely done, I like it!
