The Upper Body Details of a full Figure Drawing Demo
Rendering was very relaxing.
I tried to identify what the shadows were instead of just observing values.
Mostly complete with upper body details. I finally realized I had been using the wrong Conté pen (charcoal instead of Pierre Noire) and switched. Pure bliss! Thankful for any helpfully comments at this stage

2021/03/13. Good evening everyone. Here's my assignment for this section: "Upper Body Details". Well... I don't think there is much to say. This image speaks for itself. The proportions look almost correct. However without good control of the halftones and without a good knowledge of human anatomy, drawing a figure is very difficult indeed. The anatomy course, that I have just started, appears to be very specific and detailed. I can't wait to learn the bones and muscles of the body... so Yoni's back will no longer feel like a lava flow. Sorry Yoni!!
