I tend to spend too much time in this phase and end up exhausted. In the flat coloring stage, many mistakes are spotted that I couldn’t notice earlier, like boring or dirty lines and proportion/anatomy/perspective issues. When I find something bad, I have to go back to the line layers and fix them one by one. The only real solution is probably to improve my fundamental skills.
