Had fun with this one, Liron. Used Daniel Smith Hansa Yellow, Pyrrol Crimson and Ultramarine Blue. Loved that combination for clear secondary colors that could be mixed. Palette seemed to fit this reference.
Thought I could do more on the roof trim, but decided otherwise. Eliminated some small foreground items too. Loved the exercise!

I wanted to go back and share with you a bit of a simpler, straightforward painting process this time. I have simplified the photo for you, and edited it so that you can see EXACTLY what we’ll paint in each step of the way. One big skill to work on is the ability to “see” and isolate these different “layers” as you paint them.

My inner perfectionist struggled with this one. I tried to get the painting part done within an hour, and almost did, although I took longer with the drawing. Not sure I got the values right, and at some points I was trying to copy Liron's painting rather than the reference image.
Thanks for the lesson! :)
