Thank you for including these segments in your lessons. Watching how you used Procreate was helpful. I will practice by looking at your samples. However it will take a while for me to get digital brush skills, but it will be fun. My painting and drawing skills have developed so fast since I took your class. It was a gift. This section and the digital demo both go along together. They're more of a demonstration on how you can use the whole workflow outlined in this course and carry it over to different mediums

The reason digital and pastels go along together is because in my experience the workflow is very similar.

There is no direct assignment for this lesson, but if you'd like one, just keep following along with me and posting your work.

For the sake of this section, I'm going to encourage you to choose your own reference.

It is important for you to start understanding the practical application of these concepts to your own work. In the following interview I talk about how at a certain point you have to stop trying to emulate your teachers and paint for yourself.

Hi, I'am currently waiting for my materials to arrive so I can start the course from the beggining. In the meantime, as I have an ipad with a procreate on it, I wanted to check out this section of the course and I can't help but wonder - what brush do you use exacly here? Could it be found in the basic version of the program? Or is it imported?

The brush should be in the tutorial <The POWER of THUMBNAILS> by Nikolai Lockertsen on his Gumroad page. Took me some time to find it since it's not in his brush pack products but rather included in one of his tutorials.
