Creative Project Assignment
- Identify Your Area of Creativity:
Choose a specific area where you want to enhance your creativity. Be precise about what you want to focus on, such as use of color in painting, storytelling in a graphic novel, or new business strategies.
- Design Divergent Explorations:
Create multiple quick projects or ideas within your chosen area. For example, paint the same subject in 20 different styles or write 20 short story variations. Aim for quantity over quality to explore various creative approaches.
I've continued refining the project — by removing the white of the paper and harmonizing the colors, everything is coming together much more cohesively.
Here is my final project!
Overall, I really enjoyed working manually—it had been a long time since I last did it due to work, and this project reminded me how much hands-on creativity influences the creative process. Even though the drawings were done manually, I used Photoshop to create the final composition. I'm not sure if the general audience will fully grasp the message I'm trying to convey, as objects have both universal and personal meanings. I leaned more towards the personal meaning when selecting them, making the final result very personal.
