@Marco Bucci Here is a study following along in the Krita tutorial. Any feedback would be great, thanks! I really enjoyed this. Mine looks more like a dog than a dragon, lol. Credit to Marco Bucci for the original concept. I'm excited now for the Procreate painting tutorial and some homework ideas :)
LESSON NOTES

We put it all together in Krita now! We talk a lot about applying various brushwork techniques, as well as starting with a pencil underdrawing.

Let's take what we've learned and apply it in Krita! We'll focus a lot on brushwork and starting with a pencil underdrawing.

Ended up using Clip Studio Paint for this one and stuck to using the brush pack provided with this course. I really appreciate these full demos at normal speed - I know he mentioned it's maybe not the most exciting thing to watch but it really helps to demonstrate his workflow, how to adjust the tools on the fly to produce desired effects, and what those tools are capable of. I've got plenty of criticisms about my piece (overly saturated colors, cast shadow is too dark and wrong shape, etc.) but this demo got me out of my comfort zone trying new tools and testing out different effects, which I count as a win.

A study from @Marco Bucci 's krita demonstration. Any feedback is appreciated. Had a hard time with subtleties in color.

Thank you for the great course @Marco Bucci! I'm new to painting in general and digital painting always looked very complicated but so far I have enjoyed the course and have learned a lot. I really enjoyed the demo part where we put the previous lessons into action. Here is my take on the study following along. You're a great teacher!

That's looking good! Nice approach with the tactile-looking brushwork. From here I'd look at refining your shapes. The silhouette shape looks fine; it's more the inside shapes - little value changes that all equal various shapes - that could use more attention, which would then punch up the graphic quality and appeal of the finish. Thanks for checking out the class!

Thank you so much for this course! I've learned a lot and I already feel more comfortable using Krita. It felt overwhelming at first but your clear explanations and examples made it really easy to understand! I had a lot of fun.
