Wow I am so thankful to have been picked for this critique! I literally screamed when I saw my name. This has been very insightful and I am so honored that Ryan says I'm on my way to being a good Inker (Probably the best moment of my life haha) But more importantly, it's so helpful to hear what I can improve upon. Also really fun to see how other people approach the same piece and I learned a lot from others critique also. I am so glad to have this opportunity to learn from the pros. I will remember this for the rest of my life
LESSON NOTES

When inking comics, artists can slip up in a bunch of ways, but Ryan Benjamin's got your back. He's offering tips on nailing solid blacks, getting those smooth lines, and mastering your brush. Plus, he's big on understanding the underlying structure of what you're inking. This is just a taste of his critique, if you’re craving more tips from Ryan and some exclusive premium lessons, sign up for the premium course!

Thank you Ryan fir the critique. Answering your question, I used black pens off different thicknesses, one brush pen and a marker for the solid blacks.

i really like how Patrick from critique 12 took the rule "don't go back and forth when hatching, pick your pen up after every line" and went "but what if my back-and-forth was REALLY controlled?" truly a Learn The Rules Before You Break Them moment. looks great

Thank you Ryan for taking the time to critique my inking attempt on your page. Very helpful critique, especially making lines from thin to thick. I started practicing with different pen nibs and brushes to get more familiar with the inking tools. And I enjoyed the overall feedback you gave to the other artists. Some very talented inkers that submitted pages in the group.

Totally on point. Yes, I need a pen nib. Very helpful and interesting, I enjoyed the feedback. Thank you!
