Thanks for having a laugh with me and teaching. I am... old... or least I feel very old, 20 years of menial manual labor has not been kind to me. Like a lot of people I drew all the time from comics as a kid but to take art classes in Jr High you needed to pass a competency test... which I failed spectacularly back in 1999 (still have night terrors about that chair on a platform) and pretty much gave up drawing for a long, long time. It was probably 2016 when I decided to box up the video games and try to get serous about teaching myself how to draw but it's been a very up and down journey. Did a year at DrawABox took a long break, did some YouTube tutorials, took another break, start, stop, start and stop, ect. Funny enough Proko has made me a lot more consistent with practice because it makes me spend money. I may be a living, breathing, statistical impossibility with how bad I am at drawing but Sunk Cost Fallacy be damned!! If I spend money on something then I'm going to finish it! Thanks again for your time and big thanks for all the other students posting and discussing their work. It makes the journey much more enjoyable.
