Let's take all this cinematography knowledge and apply it in this assignment!
Take one of the panels from your penciled page, or one of the panels from the inking assignment. Then, redraw that panel to fit all the other major shot styles: Long shot, medium shot, close-up, extreme close-up, worm's eye view, and bird's eye view.
Be sure to include the original panel you started with so that the instructor knows where you began!
Tip 1: Don't just change the framing, rework the art to best utilize the new frame style. This will be a good way to experiment and see how different framing can affect the content of a panel.
Tip 2: Don't be afraid to try out some of the perspective tricks we learned, especially for the wider shots where you include more of the environment.
The next section of the course with Aaron Conley will be all about page layout, so this will be great practice for that section as well!
You have until February 2nd, 2024 to submit your work for possible inclusion in the critique video.
