Ok, another lesson where I felt a little lost not knowing the reference.
This in particular during the second pose "Ok, I am drawing the mushroom... It will eventually turn into a woman... Hope so... Oh, ok, there is a hand! Now I see!" XD
But I am getting used to it.
I have noticed that I tend to draw smaller than Mr. Jones, I think this was a reason of my problems (it only took 10 lessons to notice XD)
All the philosophy is a great lesson, thanks a lot!
LESSON NOTES
Sometimes you'll find that you need to add more gestural elements to a rendered piece. In this lesson, I'll discuss how to navigate that, as well as how to properly depict figures that have a great deal of movement to them.
You can also expect to learn about:
- Quick sketches
- Refreshing from a long structure drawing
- Reclaiming gesture
- Learning when to stop
- Lips
- Gestural connections
- Gestural balance
- Drawing at the speed of thought
- Iterations
- Natural flow and animation
