Hi Desmond! Great practice--I notice you're applying a separation of shadows & lights by the terminator line. Something to improve would be the clarity of this grouping as it seems your half-tones are distributed unevenly within the light section, making the shadows feel lost. Remember to avoid going too dark too soon for the half-tones. I highly recommend Dorian Iten's video on lighting, with shading an egg as good practice on rendering: https://youtu.be/6vapw6n6FyU I realize it's a rather difficult reference to study off of given the multiple light sources, but think of the basic forms that make up the subject matter. You show this for the ankle on the right, and it would help for the rest of the drawing as well. Once you get the hang of transitioning half-tones on a simple form, you can use this to build more complex forms. Hope this helps!
