Portrait Studies Focusing on Transitions

I drew portraits from several different angles,
trying to break down how the shifts of light and shadow on the face are formed.
While drawing, I focused on building the volume,
thinking of it as constructing the transitions between planes.
In this process, I gained a better understanding of structure,
especially when handling the transitions in the finishing stage.
Before, it felt more like I was building volume intuitively.
Now I’m starting to organize these ideas more consciously,
and my responses when drawing have become quicker.
There are still some more unusual angles that I need to explore further,
and I’ll gradually add those in future updates.
